323 "The Petite"
Telechron Tidbit: Model M1 You'll find dozens of clocks bearing a tag that states the model is "M1". Obviously, ALL these clocks can't be the same model, so what gives? M1 is a motor number; strictly speaking, the combination of field coil and rotor. The M1 is a B rotor with a geared shaft that's bored-out to accept the sweep hand--the most common arrangement in the early Telechrons. Not all of the early Telechrons carried the model number of the clock itself but on wooden cases, it's often stamped in the case bottom. Be careful, though. A few models appear in cases from other clocks and will have the wrong number on the bottom. Just check with me if you ever have any questions.
