Sunbeam Radiant Control Toaster
« on: May 20, 2016, 08:46:00 PM »
I was reminded of these recently and I got the desire to replace my wheel of fortune toaster with one of these.  They were built like tanks.  All our family had one at each of their homes and they always seemed to work well.  I got one on Ebay that the seller said was intermittent in starting the cycle.  I got it and took it along to work to industrially clean it out.  I also buffed off all the food contacting parts of it.  I have it clean and have just performed a simple adjustment I learned online. and it works quite reliably.  Now to find some Vegemite to really set things off.

The unit has been in near daily use since my first post and it has performed consistently and reliably.  I think only my Airlux has been as reliable as far as my recent acquisitions go.
