The mirrored "case" of these clocks should be rotated about 15 or 20 degrees to achieve the look you see above. It should not look perfectly symmetrical. The base, often desribed as chrome is really NICRAL. If you forgot your high school chemistry, NI= nickel, CR=chromium and AL= aluminum and they're the three metals that make the NICRAL alloy.

is the nicest Luxor I've ever seen.

notice somebody rotated the glass to "fix" it...)
