CASE — Model 7F73-M. Brown mahogany with black wooden base. Buffed and lacquered gold color metal bezels.  CASE — Model 7F73-Ch. Cherry with black wooden base. Buffed and lacquered gold color metal bezels.  DIAL — Metal, 3 1/4’’ diameter.  Black characters on a light cream enamel background.  HANDS — Blued and lacquered metal.  Furnished with 6 ft. brown art. silk cord attached, bearing Underwriters’ Laboratories Label.  HEIGHT  5 3/8" WIDTH  5 3/8’’ DEPTH 3 1/4"
 

The alarms just kept on coming back in the Golden Age. (This one even has a pedigree; a design patent from Walter Dorwin Teague.)  Came in cherry or mahogany. The stain on the cherry one (above) is so red it looks like paint.
