You've come a long way, baby.  (see?)  Mine above has a big crack in the top and a hole in the back where some thug chiseled around the set knob.  (Reverse-threaded--don't forget!)  The clock was also dropped right on it's face, breaking the crystal and bending all three hands.  Despite all that, this piece still displays well.
