Have a look at this! Here's a Harwich, painstakingly coverted from a doorstop (just the onyx case without any works) to an electric Telechron by harvesting the organs from a dead Airlux by my pal, Dave.  (We hope it was a goner--but that's Dave's story and he's sticking to it.)  He's also supposedly done yeoman's work on the back to turn back into a table clock from an alarm clock.  Good thing Dave's a perfectionist--imagine this thing going off every 12 hours with the alarm switch gone and the hole braised over!  Nice work, Dave.
