Smart, handsome, legible—A beautiful gift.  The grained white onyx CASE has a contrasting brown onyx base.  3 1/2" metal DIAL blank is bordered by a gold color,  4 1/2" metal numeral BEZEL.  HANDS are of gold color metal.  The MOVEMENT contains the standard, self-starting Telechron motor, with all the patented features that insure quiet, long life.  Telechron Clocks are approved by the Underwriters' Laboratories under the re-examination service, and are supplied with 6 ft. all-rubber cords.

Have a look at this! Here's a Harwich, painstakingly converted from a doorstop (just the onyx case without any works) to an electric Telechron by harvesting the organs from a dead Airlux by my pal, Dave.  (We hope it was a goner--but that's Dave's story and he's sticking to it.)  He's also reportedly done yeoman's work on the back to turn back into a table clock from an alarm clock.  Good thing Dave's a perfectionist--imagine this thing going off every 12 hours with the alarm switch gone and the hole braised over!  Nice work, Dave.
