Available only as a General Electric model  2H28  The Grille

Not too popular, this one, judging by the dearth of information on it.  It must have come out in 1950 and may have been gone by 1951.  It managed to miss both catalogs.  We don't have any sales figures or dealer shots of it either (the former being just bad luck).  The good, ol' 1954 Parts Catalog says the case came in (at least) blue, white, red or green and had "mahogany" hands and red sweep.  Plastic crystal.  Note the different numerals and sweep hands between the two above.  Judging by the examples I've seen, the fatal problem with this clock might be those painted numerals would just rub off the case.
