7S261 The Cue-Ette
New miniature alarm. Small in size and price —in fact, our smallest electric alarm. Trim antique white case fits on crowded night table. Brown hands and numerals, white dial, red sweep second hand. Accurate, quiet, never needs winding. Height 2 15/16" Width 3 5/16" Depth 2 1/4"
The Cue-ette
somehow outlived its wacky, hour-hand-forward movement and was re-designed
to soldier on. and on. and on. Believe it or not, the
photo below is basically the same model in the 1975-76 GE catalog.
(They were still calling it the "Cue-ette" the prior year--this year the
clocks were anonymous.) There was even a Cue-ette Snooz Alarm
but that was model 7S268 and somehow they crammed a lighted dial AND snooze
movement in the 7S268K.
