I've never been able to find one word of copy about this clock--no catalogs, brochures or ads to date.  All we know is it was sold from 1937-1939.  I think no American wanted to try and pronounce it.  Located in Paris, Tuileries was certainly one of the most if not the most beautiful palace in the world before it was mostly burned down in 1870.  The Arc de Triomphe, one of the most famous landmarks in Europe is just part of the ruins of the Tuileries.
