Chaste, admirably restrained in style is "Sophist", a new General Electric clock. It stands 5 3/4" high, convenient size for your library desk.  The case is mahogany, the dial gold enamel.  Some of the bright accents are the gold numeral band and well-designed feet.  The movement is self-starting electric.
