7H57 The Sportsman
Sportsman combines a bell alarm feature with a richly styled onyx case to make it useful and attractive in any setting. It has a wide gold color bezel with large, clear numerals etched and filled in white. The gold color hands are outstanding against a white cream dial which also has gold hour dots. Sportsman has a current interruption indicator. Height 5 1/4", Width 5 1/4", Depth 3 1/16". Dial 3 1/8"
With
the beveled edges (not present in the catalog example above), it's actually
nicer than the pre-War version of this
clock. Around 1949, Telechron swapped onyx for lucite which was decidedly
less nice.
