3H95  The Snug

An up-to-the-minute desk or table clock.  Brown wood CASE has vertical flutings below the dial.  The 3 1/4" metal DIAL has a tan center, light cream numeral band and tan numerals.  BEZEL and HANDS are of gold color metal.  The MOVEMENT contains the standard, self-starting Telechron motor, with all the patented features that insure quiet, long life.  Telechron Clocks are approved by the Underwriters' Laboratories under the re-examination service, and are supplied with 6 ft. all-rubber cords.  HEIGHT 4 11/16"  WIDTH 5 1/8"  DEPTH 2 3/4"

Neither the Snug above nor below are quite right.  Blame me; I refinished them both.  Originally they came sprayed with very dark lacquer so the grain was nearly invisble.  Notice the difference in the dogtag placement for which I take no blame.
Production of this model was suspended due to the War and never resumed.

My whole life changed after buying that scruffy clock you see up there for five dollars.  I was instantly hooked on Telechrons the minute I had it unwrapped.  Telechron only guaranteed the Snug would be a "brown wood case" when you got it out of the box.  I retract any claims I ever made about what kind of wood is under that thick, brown stain.  I think it's just some South American hardwood they could get cheaply.
